About Jason

Disciplined advocacy with practical judgment.

Jason Marshall is an Indiana attorney whose background includes criminal defense, Army Judge Advocate service, Reserve Trial Defense work, and federal civil litigation.

Attorney Biography

Jason Marshall represents individuals, families, service members, and small businesses in legal matters requiring clear advice, careful preparation, and steady advocacy.

Jason served on active duty as an Army Judge Advocate immediately out of law school. In that role, he represented individual clients in estate planning, contract issues, education matters, landlord-tenant rights, and other personal legal assistance matters. He also served in general counsel roles for command teams and government offices, advising leaders on legal, administrative, and operational issues.

His active-duty practice later focused heavily on serious felony-level crimes involving special victims. That work required careful witness preparation, evidence review, trauma-informed litigation judgment, and disciplined advocacy in high-stakes cases.

After leaving active military service, Jason entered private practice, representing clients in criminal defense and civil litigation matters. He subsequently developed a concentration in federal litigation, with a focus on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and website accessibility matters.

Jason continues to serve in the Army Reserve as a Captain and Trial Defense Attorney, representing service members in criminal defense and administrative matters.

His Military Background Informs the Firm's Approach: BE PREPARED, COMMUNICATE CLEARLY, FOCUS ON THE MISSION, AND PROTECT THE CLIENT’S INTERESTS.

Education and Service

Jason earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Indianapolis and his law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

He is proud to serve clients in Henry County and East-Central Indiana, including individuals and families who need practical legal guidance close to home.
